Vivianite is a crystal that grows underwater on organic matter, and has even been found on submerged corpses. It is helpful for transition, helping one accept and cope with necessary changes. It counters tension and physical pains by alleviating anxiety, and is also powerful in bringing protection and safety during transition if one cannot leave an unsafe situation. Vivianite is associated with the heart chakra, helping one overcome grief and letting go of past hurts, as well as lending the strength to keep going. It is particularly beneficial for processing, understanding, and working through both the pain of the past, and anxiety for the future. Vivianite is very soft and brittle, and should be kept out of direct sunlight, as its deep emerald color can permanently fade to black.
