Gray Obsidian is a rare variety of Obsidian found in an opaque, ash gray color. Much like Obsidian’s other forms, it is a powerful Root Chakra stone for both grounding and protection. However, Gray Obsidian is especially useful for energetic shielding, as it deflects negativity instead of absorbing it. This makes it an ideal stone for spells involving returning energy back to the sender, or neutralizing hexes. Gray Obsidian also helps with emotional healing and growth, and can keep a broken heart protected while it heals.
